[E]ΠHNOC Bridled horse prancing to right; above, bird with wings spread; below, crescent. DT 587. LT 7617. Struck from a worn obverse die, a few marks and areas of porosity, otherwise, very fine.



This interesting issue provides the name of Epenos both in Latin and Greek, attesting to the knowledge of both languages in Gaul at the time.
